15% OFF our New Wood Frame and Paper Mats - 11-07-2007, 03:08 PM

We recently added a new wider wood picture frame profile and color paper mats and TPF members can use the coupon code TPF117 for 15% off of these two new products. The coupon code is only good for paper mats and our new Profile 506 wood frame moulding thru Nov 15th, 2007. This coupon can be combined with our volume discounts (for same color and size). For example, if you order ten 16x20 Polar White mats your total discount is 26%. We now have 30 paper mat colors and the 506 wood frame is 1 and 3/4 inches wide and available in 7 different colors.

Due to unavoidable technical issues, the website will not support the discount code for these items when they are part of a frame kit. You can order the items separately via Components, or leave a note in the special instructions asking us to apply the discount manually.

We will be adding colors to our archival Bainbridge Alphamat and Alpharag mat lines early next year so please let us know what colors you would like to see.

I wish I would have seen this before I ordered

I didn't realize Picture Frame Destination was a TPF sponsor until today. I have to give you guys kudos for supplying a great product, an extremely easy ordering interface, very prompt delivery, and tons of info for the novice framer (me). The only thing I don't see on your site is paper backing and the tape to hold it down.

Thanks for the comments Michael. One day we will probably add the paper and ATG tape to the site. Right now our sources for those materials only sell in bulk packs that even a custom framer will take a while to work through. The most commonly used paper is kraft paper, the same used for packing. Any double sided tape, Elmer’s glue or glue stick will work to hold it down. None of that stuff is archival but then neither is the wood in the frame itself. That is where the mat comes in handy…keeps the print away from all of that.

Cheers, Mark
