It is a chance to meet other tpf members. Nothing formal. BUt we discuss many things. Have things you want to discuss. It works. Share and we will try to help.

I've not been to one either, its' a little far for lunch for me. I live between Weatherford and Mineral Well, well, north of both. If it ever gets closer, please let me know. This is different that what we do at FWPPA? It's the first I've ever heard of it. Thanks for inviting me, though.

The difference between our lunches and FWPPA ?

1- the food is ALWAYS better
2- no print competition
3- no boring "speaker"
4- you don't pay $20 unless you get $20 worth of food.
5- We talk about things other than portrait, portrait, portrait.
6- Some people at the lunches don't think they are better than you.
7- I'd better stop before I say something I shouldn't.....what?.....too late ?

We try to alternate the lunches between mid cities (arlington,grapevine,) and
North Dallas.

I'm sure the mid cities is more centrally located, but it's still pretty far. None even in Ft. Worth? That's too bad.

To be honest we don't expect everyone to be able to come. Some can come to lunches and some can come to dinners.Some come to one location, some to another. Some fools come to both (Tom and Brad, promsis not to say who we are)! But no matter where in D/FTW we have them we always seem to get a crowd. It is a great way to meet those people you chat with here in the forum. I love meeting other TPFer's Discussion can go in all sorts of ways!

Hehe, we always talk at these things.. and if it happens to be about photography, I assure you, its by sheer luck.

Although honestly, I think it is time for at least a lunch in Fort Worth direction.. maybe in July sometime.

What if we met at that place that serves hamburgers in the stockyards on the west side of the RR track. I think it might be called Riscky Trail Boss Burgers.
