Austin: Meetup @ North By Northwest

I will be in Austin attending a friend's wedding on the 20th so I figured I get in a day earlier and meetup with our Austin TPF Folks!

Location is set for North By Northwest! We can all have a few drinks, eat and not worry about having to put it all on one bill since that allows people to come and go as they wish.

The only place that comes to mind immediately would be one of the Waterloo Ice House locations. Order at the counter, so you pay separately, and grill food. What area of town will you be hanging out in, Abel, maybe we can narrow it down that way?

Just went to a friends bday at Max's wine dive. Everyone got separate checks, so that's what made me think of this place. Good place to go if you like wine. They have pretty good HH prices too. It's also downtown.

Ill be staying on the north side right at Mopac & 183 but I am driving in from houston friday so ill just meet up with you guys where ever.

Dont tweak the location just on my account.. im all for the best location that will allow the most number of members to show up... i dont mind driving... :)

Since you're talking Friday night, I would avoid downtown or anything nearby. Parking, getting a table, all sorts of headaches involved. I would just suggest someplace out in a neighborhood, or if anyone wants sunset pictures, maybe out at the lake at Iguana Grille. Actually, they will have a band after 9pm on Friday, so even though you're outdoors, it would get loud. Hey, you're going to a wedding Saturday, shouldn't there be a Friday night event at some place like Sugar's or Yellow Rose?
