I'm from there originally. I've moved off since, but go back periodically for family. The re-enactment usually last longer than the actual battle did to be honest. They have to embellish it for modern audiences I guess...the real treat is the historical structures that have been collected from around the county and the re-enactors themselves. A touch of black and white or aging in your photos, and you're almost back in time! Battle typically lasts around 20 minutes or so, with some narration, explanation, etc thrown in. The enactors often camp out over night, so there is the chance for some rustic shots if so inclined...
