Houston NW GTG: Willie's at 290/Jones, Wed 10-28, 6pm

Something a bit different this time, and in light of the recent lapse in our co-mingling activities, I thought it might be a good time to re-spark the group. If you've never been or you've been to every one so far, all are encouraged to come and let us put a face to the name.

Willie's is a very relaxed "ice house" type place, great food, drinks and low key atmosphere, family friendly too. If the weather is cooperative we can even go out on the patio. It is located on Jones Rd near the outbound access road of US 290, next to the Exxon that is on the corner.

Sorry for the late notice, we've been kicking this one around offline for awhile and the time just crept up. Nov and Dec GTG are always tough, so let's make this one to remember.

well, we stayed till 645 - then indigestion set in..and we left in search of tums...

fyi - it's not a great place for a meetup anyway - no good place to set up for a group...so..

Y'all must have gone to a different Willie's. We even managed to guide Larry in with just two phone calls.

Judging by Wes & Kevin's empty plates, the place was a hit. We should go back.

Sorry about that. We'll do better to get the word out without confusion next time. too bad, because Larry drove by there on his way to Jones Road. Had he stopped there first, y'all could have followed him.

well, we'll have to pass if it's way out there - our 'volunteer' trips are limited to close areas because of the dog...who is deteriorating..
