Saturday Janurary 16 (23rd alt.) will be our 3rd Film Crawl. We will be crawling thru Navisota and Washington on the Brazos state park.

The plan is to show up in and around Navisota for shooting in the AM. Meet up at noon for lunch. Then proceed to Washington and the Brazos state park for shooting throughout the afternoon.

When you RSVP please provide suggestions for places for lunch and places you would like to shoot in Navisota. Posting locations in and around Navisota will allow us to gather in one or more groups for the morning.

If the high for the day is below 40 deg. F or extensive rain is expected we will reschedule for the following Saturday (Jan 23rd)

FAQ:
1.) What is a Film Crawl? Film Crawls are about a group of photographers getting togeather to photograph one or more locations at a slow easy pace.

2.) Can I come if I don't have a film camera? / Can I bring a digital camera? YES. I encourage you to come. If you are a digital photographer who is the least bit curious about film photography, this is a great way to get to learn some of the basics, check out the equipment, and get advice about starting with film.

Well typical film crawl weather is forcast for the 16th (38-50 def F w 30% chance of rain).

It would be a lot less irksome if the following day had a bad forcast as well.

Lee, it’s still early in the week so the weather may get better by this weekend. I went out yesterday to Bellville to scout out the area for future shoots, and had a great time in spite of the cold temperatures.

The forecast is now up to 70% for Saturday. I propose we reschedule for our alternate date of Sat Jan 23rd. Another possibility is Sun Jan 17th.

After almost 24 hours all the responders have agreed to reschedule for Sat. 1/23.

Here it is, Sunday the 17th, and just realized I completely forgot about the crawl until just now.

I'm really glad to read that it's been postponed until next Saturday. I do plan to attend, and am hoping that David is too, since I'll likely be carpooling with him.

Perhaps we could get a group carpool/caravan going from the westide?

I saw a sign in Anderson yesterday: Tea Party Breakfast 8am Jan 23. Sounds like a plan to me.
