Free Day at Houston Zoo - 2/15/10

Admission to Houston Zoo is free today, February 15, 2010, in honor of President's Day.

Zoo hours: 9:00am-6:00pm.

New at the Zoo:
More invisimesh exhibits -- Jaguar exhibit is the latest; primates, small cats, others.
Baby Bongo (antelope) born last week
Baby Yellow-backed Duiker (forest antelope) born end of December;
Baby Maned Wolf born in January
3 1.5-year-old female lions have joined our male, Jonathan, and are being introduced to our older female, Celesto
Over 30 keeper talks daily with keepers interacting with and/or handling their animals.

and people, people, people...It's a free day, afterall!
