Slap Dash Film Crawl - 02-25-2010, 08:52 PM

During the last Film & Darkroom GTG several fellow Film Crawlers thumb upped an impromptu Film Crawl this weekend.

I just saw the weather report and Saturday looks like it's going to be GREAT!

Wayne suggested Glenwood and Pizza.

Going with this idea I sugges we meet up in Glenwood Cemetary by 9am. About noon or whenever we get hungary adjourn to Star Pizza II. Over pizza & beer we will discuss what to do during the afternoon.

Normally I would have put out a poll for the group to decide between Saturday ad Sunday but I left this untill the last minute. Sorry.

If you are intrested in joining in but may be late in arriving / think you might need help locating the group, send me a PM and I will provide you my cell#. If you call me Saturday I might know what is going on. (I am, after all, only the instagator not the leader.)

FAQ: I dont use a film camera. Can I come?
FGA(Frequently Given Answer): Absolutly. Film Crawls are all about enjoying photography at an easy pace. Every one is welcome. If you are film curious, this is a great oppertunity to get to meet with some easy going & knowledgable film photographers, check out equipment and get some advice.

Hope to see you Satuday.

Texas Birthday? Is this the weekend when there is a team relay foot race from west to east ending at San Jacinto Monument?

I was thinking the same thing. I always thought that Jeff was cool. When I learned that he used a Widelux I knew he was way cool. The Oscar is fitting for his career.

Way cool Widelux shots!

I still have not heard from many of y'all on the planning post for the next Film Crawl.

Hope to see you all there.
