CLICKS photography exhibition

Friday: 7 p.m.- 11 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Sunday: 3 p.m. - 8 p.m

CLICKS is inspired by and builds on the long-standing tradition of classic, juried Photography Exhibitions in an attempt to provide Collin County photographers an opportunity to demonstrate their talents and express their love of the art.

While many of the photographers and viewers are professionals, the photo exhibition is specifically open to amateurs and provides a unique opportunity for all interested people to compete for entrance into the exhibition on an equal platform regardless of experience.

Photo submissions will be received for a fee and an accredited photography expert will carefully select the best images in certain categories to define the exhibition.

CLICKS will be held at the MGroup Studio located in the historic McKinney Cotton Mill where the public will be invited to appreciate the selected works and potentially
purchase available works.

CLICKS will culminate in an awards ceremony with a Best of Show award and presentations in the following categories:

REPRESENTATIONAL: Photographs of identifiable subjects including
people, objects or animals.

NON-OBJECTIVE: Interpretive photography where the subject matter is predominately unidentifiable or abstract.

LANDMARKS: Urban, industrial or natural spaces.

STAGED: Formal or informal portraits, still life, fantasy compositions, model shots, advertisements or deliberate setups.

Deadline for Submissions is JULY 23.

Best of Show Awarded $250
First Place in each category $150

The Dates for CLICKS photography exhibition are as follows:

Friday, August 20th - 7-9 p.m.
Saturday, August 21st - 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.
Sunday, August 22nd - 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. with the Awards Reception beginning at 7 p.m.
