I wish I was going to be here to join and meet everyone.

I will be landing in Rome at 9:30 am (here anyways) on Sunday. Then it's off to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona.

Anyone been to Italy or Greece? This will be my first trip to either.

I am sure you are heartbroken! We'll send you a group shot and you can Photoshop us in.

So....parking. Are the underground lots the best bet?

There should be plenty of on the street parking. And parking is free on Sundays.

Hm, I've never shot with my kit lens before (I know everyone says they're crap). Maybe I'll make it a challenge to limit myself to that lens. Who knows what it will be like. As a newb my images probably can't get that much worse...

Great link! Thanks a ton Sonny! All great tips indeed.

I've already decided to shoot with only one lens.. after reading Step #2 maybe I should leave all of my gear at home EXCEPT just one camera, one less. No bags, No frills. Basics.

Sounds like a great idea!

Maybe the next Photo Walk should be done at the Houston Rodeo Carnival! I bet that would be fun. =)

I only have two lenses, so I guess I'll bring those. I haven't gotten much use out of my kit lens, so maybe this would be a good time to start experimenting with it on the wide-angle side.

I'm going to try to make it. Ha, I'm super nervous, though.

Lucky! I want to go to both Italy and Greece so badly. Have a ton of fun!
