Hi everyone!

I thought it'd be nice to change it up this month and try for a photoshoot for this month's event. Please list the lighting gear you would like to bring and share so we don't have too many doubles of things at our stations.

Angie has graciously provided us an indoor venue for us to play inside in:
4899 Montrose Blvd, Houston, TX 77006

We will be on the 6th floor. Light refreshments will be served as well.

If you have any ideas for station rotations (the pool area may be available for a little while) please let me know!

Hm, I'd been thinking about Hermann park/museum district, but then again, I have no lights. If you're out there looking all official with lights and stuff those places will want permits too.

There is a park off 517 and I-45 that has lots of space for lights, some docks and gazebo like areas.

whole point is to share equipment and knowledge of those lesser equipped :) and to have those without gear to learn about lighting and posing etc etc.. practice never hurt anyone! I guess those without a lot of gear can bring something/one else to compensate? can bring something interesting to set up to shoot or.. refreshments.

Easy to say when you have no equipment and want to share.

If nothing else I can observe and bring food if people want - of course food would last better if we were inside too. :)

Unfortunately, if we are going to do it inside, someone has to have a huge house or access to a huge studio (I don't really want to pay for studio rent unless it's like $10 or less - especially if I don't have lighting equipment to mess with).

Here is a thought...Again at least in Katy...we could barrow the club houses that the HOA's have, they range from 50 to 150 a day....so split that up over several people that could easily be 10 dollars or less...

Another thought...is does anyone know someone in the Hotel business...use one of the banquet rooms...when they don't have anything going on...

Just thoughts...

If someone secures a location I can bring my 6 Sony flashes, stands, umbrellas, EzyBox, Tri-flip, etc.

I am out the weekend before but I should be okay for the 21st. Well, maybe after 12 since I think I am doing video director that day.

I already offered up all my lighting stuff in the chat. Just need to know where. Sounds like if we get a big enough space we could have a couple of different stations
