So the date and time are still open. I only put 9/11 because it's this upcoming weekend and to basically get some responses from y'all. Keep in mind when we lock down the details I will update this thread, by doing that the responses will clear. Either location is minutes from home for me, which is good. I will be working Saturday night, in a co-worker's place, and weekend nights can be wild, so getting off work on time at 6 AM can be problematic, which could complicate getting enough sleep, so a noon meet-up is going to be a "maybe" at this point in time. I would certainly like to be there! Working with flash in the park, or shooting architecture, both sound interesting. Shooting architecture on 9-11 might get the wring kind of attention, but a mixed group of folks with cameras should be much less suspicious than one or two guys with cameras, I do have the credentials (police ID) that should help de-fuse any attention from authorities. My wife might try to make this meet-up, also. |

Sounds like it'll be a very casual photowalk with the families! Still up in the air if I am gonna go. I need to shoot more (been slacking). Depending on conditions earlier in the day (9/11 events) I may show. Maybe I'll do the whole thing with this mix of modern and antique macro gear I put together. |
