Hey everyone,
I am new to this forum, but was told by Charrie Shockey that y'all might want to know about this event -
There is a non-profit (www.snowballexpress.org) that gives kids who have lost a (military) parent since 9/11 a weekend to feel "normal" ;) They go to Six Flags, Concerts are put on for them, they go to the rodeo and just get to hang out w/ kids who are dealing with the same heart ache.

This year they have asked me to gather some local photographers who want to join the weekend and grab some sweet pictures of the kids. On Friday 12/9 - from noon-10pm we will be all around the hotel taking posed pictures of all the kids/families that want that - then the rest of the weekend, we will be hanging out in the teen and kid room doing individuals in there - think on location senior pictures x 900 kids.. :) There are 1500 kids who come, but they are expecting about 900 to take us up on the pictures.

Kodak has donated a kiosk w/ unlimited prints - so we don't even have to worry about turn around - I am thinking we will just download all pics to an external drive and let someone print them all weekend long - so they can go home with everyone :)
