Well, long before the Sprint Commercials, I held a night meeting for the students to experiment with different things, like long exposures and multiple flashes, flashlights, lasers, candles. You know, basically painting with light...long exposures...and you run around in the exposure painting the scene with light. You take a flash and or flash light and paint a scene, splashing light just where you want it. Or, like in the Sprint commercials, draw out objects. Lots of options. Here is a quick page I threw together last year to help the students know what we were trying to do. The page needs more samples, but so does everything. ;)

Last year was one of the best years so far...with help coming from the insight from the Sprint commercials, specifically the making of the commercials that I showed them prior to the meeting.
