Just a quick question. I've seen these meeyups posted before and have been interested in going. Whats the objective of these meetups other than getting to know each other? Being a fairly new photog, i'm a little concerned I would just bug everyone to death in trying to learn and absorb everyone's knowledge :)

Marv, come out...we sit around and eat and BS. Sometimes we talk photography, sometimes we don't.

You won't bug anyone. There's people that do a little bit of everything. Bird people, train people, model people...heck...I think there's bug people too ;). Got something to share? Bring it along, show it off, lots of friendly people.

we somehow ended up in the side/back room...cuz we didn't leave until about 830.

Aww man! We were there for a while! You just needed to find that rag-tag group of people sitting at the big table!

Yeah it was nice meeting everyone tonight..I sat at a table by myself for 30 mins before I just started asking big groups and found them

Yeah, we saw you the second you walked in and decided to let you wander around aimlessly for a while. I wanted to to come retrieve you, but everyone else told me to just sit and watch you suffer! We took bets on how long it would take you to come over and join us ;)

you only found us moments before he did, and I thought he found the group because he heard you asking! rofl
