I'm not sure if this is the exact place to put this, but I need a fresh set of eyes on this image. I feel like I'm done with it, but something seems to off to me and I can't tell what it is.

I know it's kinda soft. The shutter speed was way too low, and I didn't realize it until I got home

Ok...so I playedI like it because it took out all the other items distracting, the background, the lip ring, the low cut dress, and made me just look at her eyes, and her pretty smile. JMO...

Jessica,
Very nice work. Good job on retouching the image. I would send it out to be printed.

I don't like your version. Way over processed for my taste. The over processing is showing artifacts in the sharpening. It would not print well.

I think the retouch looks great. I might consider buring the overexposed grass in the top right or doing a color replace, just to tone it down a tiny bit. Other then that I think you took a very average shot and made it look extremely well.

Exactly. It's the bright yellow/lime green grass in teh background that is throwing it off. Those bright colors contradict everything in the foreground.

Not sure if these are much better. I'm more partial to the first one, because the second looks a little strange. Any CC?

dial back the saturation in the background and add a subtle vignette.

Hello Jessica. I saw your picture - which is very nice to begin with... but I thought I would try a technique that would let your subject stand out more and give less emphasis to the background. To be ready for printing, it would need a bit more tweeking but this was my attempt. :)
