PP out sweat marks on dark blue shirt - 06-21-2009, 09:16 PM

I have a major help request. I am editing a session that I had this friday evening, but am stuck. The dad was wearing a navy blue shirt, and was really sweaty. I need to try and edit out the sweat marks. Here is an example...

How in the world?? That looks awesome!! What were your settings on the patch tool? did you use small sections? Please do tell, I need to do this for this client, and there are two major ones that I have to have edited the sweat out of! :)

thanks.

Here's my try.

created a new layer, used the patch tool then the clone brush at about 20%. reduce the opacity of the layer to 80% then merged the layers.
