CS4 Droplet Creation Help...please - 06-23-2009, 08:06 AM

I am trying to make a droplet for CS4 that'll resize photos to say, 1200px on the long side. So I tried to create an action that resizes according to that, but it doesn't seem to work like the Image Processor...I don't think I can just put the dimensions of the long size and have it keep the aspect ratio - - (make any sense at all)!?!

I have both portrait and landscape orientation photos and I would love it to just keep the long side at 1200 px. I know I can use Image Processor, but I really want to create a droplet since I am doing the same thing over and over again.

Thanks for helping out if possible!

Jake~

From your action/droplet, use the File -> Automate -> Fit Image command. It will let you resize based on the long dimension while preserving the aspect ratio.
