My brushes in CS3 do not work. I click them and they show on the screen but do not work.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Don

What are you trying to do with the brush and what are the settings for it? Mode, opacity and flow?

I will have to check these settings tonight. I know flow and opacity are at 100%.

back off the opacity and flow and you should get the results you are looking for.

Ok.
Mode in normal
Backed off opacity and flow.
Still nothing works with brush or eraser

Do you have a layer selected that can be edited?

Don, please explain what you are trying to do with the brush. Does it involve a mask or something? Trying to figure out what's going on here.

I am trying to remove/brush away some blurring in a layer. I also wanted to put some color back in a black and white layer.
I had done this plenty of times before.
I am afraid that with my wife and kids playing around with the CS3 they have changed things.

How hard is it to remove CS3 and re-install it?
I will just have to go back and re-do my preset actions.
I have a deadline for a program cover and need to do whatever it takes to get back up and running.
Thanks all for trying to help.

I always save my workspace when I make changes so if someone else comes in and mess with it I just load up my workspace. Before removing maybe you can try changing the workspace?

Well. it's fixed.
I don't understand why or how? I tried to remove it from my program files and it would not be removed. The files were gone but the desktop icon was still there. So i tried it out and it worked?
I then re-loaded the cd so that I would have all the other Adobe programs back and it still works. YEAH!

Thank you all for your help
