I got a new computer which is 64bit. My copy of Elements 6 won't install or do anything. It works fine on my 32bit laptop. Any suggestions???

it should install and run according to Adobe's website, although it is a 32bit application. check Adobe's knowledge base for other possible problems such as auto installer not functioning.

also, are you installing from a download or a cd? if download, extract the files into a folder on the desktop, open the folders inside to get to the actualy installer, not the installer preview windlow.

same goes for cd/dvd, explore the cd and find the actually setup executible.

I had the same setup E6 on 64bit windows...it installed fine, but I always had problems uploading files from a card. It would load about a dozen and then bomb on the rest of them. I ended up loading no more than 10 shots at a time and even then, after about 50 that way, it would start to fail again. Moving to Elements 7 fixed the problem - I could batch in more than 100 shots at a time with no problems. Now I'm on CS4 and faced with an entirely new world in Bridge.
