I make my own. I usually will make several presets to do the initial processing for groupings of similar images from a shoot. Depending on what I shot, I may make artsy or plain presets. Say for a wedding, I will make a preset for each different environment to handle color correction and contrast/ saturation, etc. Then from there we can mix it up and get creative if needed.

I have a preset to pull down the saturation sliders for each color to zero to start my typical B and W workflow (I know there is a grayscale section, I just never like my results with it and prefer to do what I do)

I have one that then adds blacks and contrast to get me where I usually want to be for most of the stuff that comes out my IR camera. (I'm a B and W IR shooter )

I have several that do varying degrees of contrast and saturation depending on my mood. This is the most dynamic area of my presets as most of these don't carry over well to other shoots and over time will get deleted for something probably somewhat similar later on.

I have one set to do most of what needs be done to submit to Alamy.
I also have an export preset made to complete the task.

I have found my presets act wildly different between cameras when it comes to contrast, color, and saturation. What will make a 5d file look good will push a Mark II file over the top in many situations.

Love the WOW set from OnOne software. but the ones I use most are the ones I've created, and even those are usually just a starting place and I still tweak settings because of different factors such as exposure settings, etc.

Aren't the WOW presets free for only 30 days?

"Try onOne plugins for Photoshop, Lightroom and Aperture free for 30 days "

Do you have to pay for them after that?

no, the wow presets for Lightroom and CameraRaw are free. the other offerings are 30day trials.

from the site:
Most downloads are fully functional versions that expire in 30 days except for PhotoTools 2 Lite and PhotoPresets which are completely free.

LOVE the Nichole Van presets. I bought them a few weeks ago and use them all the time. Occasionally, for outdoors (if you have just the right light), I use David Jay's. Sometimes they work really well, and other times they don't.

Wow so glad that I checked this one out. I found that they have an App for the iPhone which can control my camera (only canon cameras) through wifi (or Ad Hoc) and my computer. TOOO COOL!!!

Maybe a little off topic for this thread... so I really like the PH_Hardrocker preset for Lightroom. Thanks for posting the links :-)
