I have been using iMac and Apple displays for the last 5 years. Never had a complaint from a customer that my color or print brightness was off. Of course there could be room for improvement, but to all but the VERY well trained eye, my Apple displays seem to provide a solid platform for photography. YMMV.

I have an Eizo CG241W, and love it. Though I sometimes wonder if my images look washed-out and overbright on people's displays who are running brightness levels of 150cdm^2 or higher, since they were edited on a display calibrated to 100cdm^2. But print matching is what I'm most concerned about. One thing he says in that article that I definitely agree with: most of the complaints about prints that are too dark are actually because of editing on displays that are too bright.
