Photoshop action question - 08-08-2009, 11:41 PM

I am giving up on Elements for the time being to create my borders. My question is this: When I do an action and create my border I want to put my text in at the bottom for my website. When I try to do it as an action it never puts the text in the right place so I have to go back and do a stepbackward and adjust the text to make it in the middle. I have seen actions where there is a pause or better yet is there a way to middle justtify the text?

I'm not sure you can do what you want via actions unless the images are all the same size. I think you would need scripting to do it.

As for pausing the action to allow manual interaction, you can insert a "stop" in the action. Then make your adjustment and hit play to resume. While recording the action, from the little palette drop-down menu choose "Insert Stop" to add a stop to your action.
