Processing Advise - Moose at Grand Teton NP - 08-11-2009, 01:53 PM

I was at Grand Teton NP on vacation recently. I had the luck to shoot this image of a moose wading into the Snake River near Oxbow Bend. Any advice on how to make the image have more pop would be appreciated.

How a photo looks is really subjective to the individual eye. My take would be to increase the exposure to make the overall exposure brighter and then increase the blacks to cut down on the haze. I did this in Lightroom by going to auto exposure and then increasing the blacks by 15. Some folk's also like the rule of thirds.
