Yes it was a request for a bluish purple wash out look, someone had requested assistance with it and therfore afterwards i felt the need to share it if anyone needed it and would like to use it.

I'll keep that in mind if I ever want to take a perfectly good image and make it look like grandma had it on her TV for the last 40 years.

I agree with Don. Why don't you spend your time to make the picture better not worse?

I think this is an eye of the beholder thing, some people go for the toned / grey wash look.

Thanks for the free action.

Come on guys, he's providing something which someone could find useful, there is no reason to possibly discourage. I dont see the need to provide any negative comments.

Don - it must have been a ninja edit then ;)

I know there is nothing discouraging in the comments, but, some people, and i'm not referring to the OP in this, can take it as such and not provide such offerings.

Sadly, I have seen on other forums and this is far from them in the people here, that posters would get hammered for simple things and would get discouraged.

Any my apologies for going off topic from the OP.

I don't personally like this action, but if you were to post more freebies I am sure that I would find something that I like. I hope you aren't discouraged because I would love to see more freebies. :)
