There can be an astonishing amount of information hidden in your raw files just waiting to be revealed by the right treatment in Lightroom 2.x or Camera Raw 5.x...."

Good info to know. I usually shoot in RAW mode, so it would be interesting to see what may still be hidden in some of these files.

Just for grins, I tried doing the HDR thing with slides using a Opteka slide duplicator attachment with my DSLR. Some of these slides are over 20 years old, and I thought I knew intimately every bit of detail they contained. I was quite surprised by the level of detail HDR pulled out from the shadow areas of these images.

Yeah, I once had a file that looked like a big black frame, but when I delved into the shadows, there was a picture of a fountain hidden in it...

Funny stuff.
