Help!! Ps Cs3 - 09-05-2009, 02:07 PM

I opened CS3 to do some editing of Senior Pictures and did all my raw tweaks clicked ok and it opened the image. When I click on crop, heal, anything, all I get is the hand icon and I can't do anything. I have never had this occur so I am perplexed.

Any help or suggestions??

Nevermind. As soon as I posted this I went back to the picture and now it is allowing me to do what I need to. Still, does anyone know what the problem might have been? lol

Are you using a Wacom? I am and on occasion CS4 would lock onto a tool and not switch - flipping the Wacom pen to the erase-end then back would free it up. Haven't figured out if it's Wacom or PS causing the problem.

That offer never seems to work.

I have had that issue before. I teach a high school graphic design class, and we seem to have that happen quite a bit (we have CS3 as well). We haven't found a fix yet, other than using the keyboard keys (ctrl +s) to save the image that we are on, and closing it out and starting it back up. If anyone else has a fix, that would be fabulous.
