Question Exporting in LR2- Need File Size too small for print, large enough for slide show... - 10-29-2009, 05:53 PM

What i need to do is export Processed RAW files from Lightroom and make them small enough during the export, to where you won't be able to make prints, but the photos will still look great on a computer or TV slideshow.

It's for that charity event that I shot last week and the company I shot it for wants to play the slideshow on their office televisions which are wired to a central computer.

I am going to tag the photos, so that's OK.

I just need to know what size it should be so that it's just large enough, but not too large.

I apologize if this subject has been beat to death.

No such thing. People will print anything.

i think that's impossible. unless you will put some watermarks on your photos. :) For a slideshow 1000px(longest side) and around Quality(6) will do. but still they can print it for a pocket size. :)

Yeah, I'm going to tag them all like I have on my blog. But they plan on getting a canvas print or two from me, and I don't want them to be able to print from the DVD. Not that I think they'll intentionally steal from me, but they may just not know better like most people.
So, like 1000 px? Thx, i'll try that.

The next thing is figuring out how to batch watermark tag...
