What happened with my CS3 brushes

today I was using PS and all of the sudden I cannot see the brush sizes any longer just a small target,, the brushes work but you cannot judge what size they are. Any suggestions?

Hmm...
I don't know about that, but sometimes when I was using CS2, the brush would really blend in with the image, so much so I couldn't see where the brush was on the image.

Another time I 'lost' my brush, was the size was so miniscule I couldn't see it on the un-zoomed image, and another time, it was so large that it was bigger than the canvas.
