Well I upgraded from CS2 to CS4 this week, and I'm stuck.
In CS2, it was a snap to make a .PDF Multi-Page Document. Explained HERE.
I can't seem to find that function anywhere in CS4 or Bridge.
Please Help!

File> Export only has "Render Video" and "Paths to Illustrator" selectable.
I'm a night owl. I'm at my best at night
Care to stay up with me?
edit: Ok, I think I figured it out. It's in Bridge, under the "Output" button.
But now, there's a small white border around the left, right and bottom edges.

Still? Nothing?
I still can't figure this new Bridge CS4 out. From some forums I've read, they've removed the feature of a "Multi-Page Document" that used to be so easy to use on CS2/3.
There HAS to be a way. Someone just needs to shine the light on it for me!

I only have Photoshop CS3, have you tried Save As and select PDF?
Worst case, you can always download CutePDF and their driver to print them to a PDF file for free.

the easiest way to make a pdf is to print the document/photo/anything, then instead of actually printing, there is a save to pdf button.
I don't have CS4, so I'm not sure the option is there... try to print and see what is there.

It's not under the "Print" Dialog on CS4 anymore. It is everywhere else and on every other app, but frikin Adobe and their greedy selves decided to make people purchase Acrobat Pro for another $200 or something by taking this slick feature out of PS. Stupid Adobe.
I just re-installed CS2 and I'm doing it that way for now. I'm really disappointed at Adobe though for removing this feature.
If anyone knows of anything I'm missing, please say something.

the other thing I read somewhere from a google search was someone had the same trouble until they reinstalled CS4 and the PDF save as option showed up.
Good luck

Thanks Peeker, and I'm sorry if I came off a little rough earlier, I'm just so steamed at Adobe about this.
Now, InDesign is not included with CS4 like Bridge is, right? I don't see InDesign anywhere except on Adobe's site, and it's another $200. I've heard people say to use it, but I don't think i have it since I didn't get the Suite, just CS4.
I'm trying to save a .PDF presentation in PS CS4 or Bridge, whichever will work.
Bridge will save a PDF presentation, but it saves it with a white border around it and it will not be trimmed.

This is what I see on my CS4 (PS) [on mac]. .pdf is available under the print option.
Have you ran "software update" just see if something needs updating?

Yea, I have the latest. While it may be there under print options, how do I make a multi-page presentation?
The Print Option is good for saving one file as .PDF, but not multiple, as far as I know.
You can also just save a single .PDF by going to "Save As". | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
