Color differences from picture perfect and Photoshop - 11-16-2009, 01:42 PM

I am able to review my RAW images in Picture Perfect fairly easily. Once I try to convert the file and open in photoshop to use their RAW settings, the color has lost all its saturation.

I'm not sure how to sync my color setting of my Nikon d40x with photoshop 8.

What are you "converting" to in PP?

Don't do anything in PP except to review the images for basic stuff and close them without saving so you will have the unadulterated file in PS.

I only use PP for review. When I convert them to adjust in photoshop, the color is flatter and not as rich.

Photoshop/DNG Converter Color Issue - 11-21-2009, 04:02 PM

I have a Nikond40x and I am using Photoshop 8 CS. When I convert the files and adjust them with the photoshop RAW adjustments, they color is less vivid and flat. When I look at the pics before I convert them with Picture Perfect, they are in fact, picture perfect.

What do I need to adjust in Photoshop to make sure the colors are accurate when they are converted and pulled up on Photoshop?

Thanks!
