HDR Photoshop C&C - 12-04-2009, 07:52 PM

Here is my first attempt at creating an HDR style photo. Since it was after the fact I took an original RAW image and cheated to make 3 jpg's at various +/- exposures. Here is the result, please provide any C&C.

Thanks
John

The halo around the boy is a little distracting to me.

It is his magnetic personality showing through... I tried to tone the halo down a bit, but could not figure out how and still keep the HDR effect.

Try using a Layer Mask..... That'll do it.

i think that's a perfect example of a shot that doesnt need HDR. i think you'd get a much more natural image with a tiny exposure bump to correct for the underexposure, a little fill light, a correct white-point set using part of the jersey highlight area using Levels.
