Photoshop text questions

Attached is a copy of a poster I put together. I have never messed with text much, but need to put some text along one of the curves in the image. How do I manipulate text without getting distortion? For example, if I wanted to put text in a circular logo, what is the best way to do so and not distort the fonts?

I think it looks good the way it is. If you bow the letters there's going to be too much space in the corners. Just a thought. I'd still like to see what you come up with though.

Perhaps you might want to finish that sentence with...

for text and graphics projects.

It's true that dedicated commercial art departments use the best tool from their suite to create collateral. It also makes economic sense to use the available tools for a small job outside of a businesses core competency. I certainly wouldn't suggest that David purchase Illustrator and devote hours of learning to make one poster, are you?

Thanks guys. I'll check out the tutorials. I have AI and use it for some things but I am in no way an expert. I know what I want to do can be done in PS and since this is primarily a photo projec it seems best suited.

Thanks for the help. Once you get some instruction this is pretty simple. After playing with it for a while I got what I was looking for. All I wanted on this image was to move my credit to the bottom curve/path.
