Shortcut in LR2 for "Paste Settings"? - 01-01-2010, 03:49 AM

While processing photos, I like to copy adjustments from one image, and apply them to other photos in the set. You right click on the thumbnail, go up to "develop>copy settings". To paste it, I have to right click on the image thumbnail I want to adjust, then hit "Develop>paste settings".
I wish there was a "cmd+c/ cmd+v" shortcut where I could do this.
Using the "sync settings" feature seems to take the same amount of effort.

Is there an easy way I'm missing?

I only know there's a short cut to paste settings from previous image onto the current one with: Ctrl + Alt + v. Don't know if there's a short cut to paste the settings across image(s)

Wouldn't this be the sync option?

EDIT: I just re-read your post. Let me elaborate a little more.

pick a picture, make generic changes and get to stopping point, and then select all of the photos you want to also modify, then click sync. check/uncheck what you want don't want to sync, execute, and viola...

^hehe guess so. Select photos you want sync'd, hit button. Can't get shorter than that eh? Sometimes the option we're looking so hard for is right there on the control panel
Thanks

Hey sam, there is a way to paste develop settings quickly.

Sync's good but sometimes you can't always have the same photo highlighted an hour later and you want to paste the develop settings quickly that you copied previously.

The (apple) shortcut to paste is:

Command + Shift + V

And of course to copy is:

Command + Shift + C

To see all the cool shortcuts quickly whether you're on a mac or pc just select the appropiate Module (go into Develop Mode) then:

Repeat by going into another Module to see shortcuts for that Module. (ie: Library)
