Once you go RAW; you never go back...

No matter the situation; it's digital, jpeg shouldn't even be an option on your camera. :)

I shoot RAW for everything and have for 2 or 3 years. I use LR2 primarily to process, with CS3 as needed. Just FYI, when Paul Nicklen spoke this week in Dallas, he said that everything he sends to National Geographic has to be RAW - they won't take anything else.

Always RAW. If I want to fit more on a memory card for any reason then I'll switch to SRAW1.

I really like the headroom that RAW provides, so I shoot RAW pretty much exclusively. The only drawback I've found, neglecting the fact that RAW files take up about twice as much space as jpgs, is that my DSLR's frame rate plummets to tortoise speed when I'm shooting in RAW and Continuous mode. Still, the advantages are so great that I almost never shoot jpgs.
