Ever seen a Mac Pro? So many configurations you can do with that. i.e. RAM, video cards, RAID setups, etc.
So, the main difference between both of them lies in the creators. Bill Gates was a programmer. (think taking step 1,2,3). Steve Jobs was a creative (in order to open the door, I have to be within proximity of the knob). In any case, it is whatever floats your boat. The 16+ years I played with PCs, I rarely got BSODs as I always had fun tweaking the autoexec.bat and config.sys files and had fun tweaking the RAM. Now, many consumer/prosumer users don't want to mess with any of that or using third party programs
I don't have a problem running a Mac or a PC. It's both personal preference and budgets. I wanted a system that can run consistently smooth for a number of years. I have 2x MacBook Pros, one of them is 3 years old and still runs the same as the day I got it. I also have a Mac Pro which I have added hard drives, upgraded the video card and added more RAM over the years. I got a great deal on it. not many people know about the refurb section of the apple store.
I used to be a Mac hater... all I needed was to try it once, toss CS3 on there (hey it was hot at the time haha), and I was sold. No DLL hell to mess with, no black screens or blue screens, everything runs smooth like any other variant of linux. I'm a happy camper. |
Wow, apparently you are looking at a different Mac pro screen. There are a total of 2 different Video cards (all behind the times) and you pay Triple to add another drive.
A good MOBO gives you just as much Ram capacity and Raid configs.
Yes Mac OS might be more stable BUT PS isn't made by mac and it is prone to just as much issues.
Not hating, just pointing out a few things.
