Just talked to Paul.
He uses ImagesPlus : MLUnsold Digital Imaging
There are 2 versions.
One with just the image processing.
One with CameraControl that also handles the photo acquisition.
Paul says its the best, but its about $200.00 +/-

The other good one is called MaximDL from Cyanogen Imaging Products from Diffraction Limited ($199 to $699)

David, do you have Photoshop? This is a 5 minute job if you've got PS.

Paul just came back with one freebie that is pretty good.
DeepSkyStacker - Free

He just came back with another one that is free and designed for StarTrails stacking:

I use Image Stacker. It costs $20 or so and couldn't be easier. In any of the tools, set the blending option to "lighten" and Bob's your Uncle.

good Luck.
