Funny stuff Viet.
I am only guilty of maybe 8 of the 10 in the past couple of years.

I went through phases of that list but thank god never went too far with it. Too much of anything can't be a good thing ;)

I have been guilty of a couple in the past... and a couple of those are pet peeves of mine... vignettes especially, ugh.

I have seen selective color used well... but only maybe one out of 1000 times I've seen it.... and never done well by me. (I only do it now when the client pleads, begs, and offers to pay extra.)

How can ridiculous HDR not be included?

Luckily I've never done much selective coloring. I don't do much with flare or any textures. I've definitely been guilty of the vignettes, though.

Well, I don't see the listed 10 as sins, as long as they are done within limits.
Any PP over done is a sin. (sharpening for example)

And shortly after I posted this, I realized that not one, but two of the images I currently show in my art/commercial portfolio have selective color used... and well, I think, obviously.. or they wouldn't be IN the portfolio.

Now.. selective color on people? Just say no.
