Crop this?

Help please.
I dont have an eye for cropping and I dont like the water color but I like the pups. Is there any fix possible?

Being a total noob to these forums, I am sure folks will correct me. If you do not like the water color why not try grey scale adjusting to sepia or along the blue side. Lots of options there. Even using a vignette could help offset the amount of water around the dogs.

This was my attempt to crop the image to what my eye thought would look nice. Still see some areas for improvement. Comments more than welcome.

Yeah, crop in tight and perhaps play with a gradient to change the look of the water.
