Anyone know about the upgrade path? I currently have CS3. Can I upgrade from CS3 straight to CS5 - or do I have to go to CS4 --> then to CS5?

She makes a good point about PS features that demo well, vs those that actually WORK well in practice. It sure looks like this one will actually work well!

Amazing stuff, I'll be upgrading as soon as possible.

+1. I heard they'll let you jump 2 versions. Yes? No?

I just hope I have enough computing power to run it. My HP is around 4yo.

If you look at their current upgrade path, it appears it's a 2 prod version upgrade path, almost 3.

Looks like I'll be making the jump to CS5. There appear to be some real time savers in the new release.

It looks like CS5 will be released the end of the month. 20% off to NAPP members through Adobe but you have to call.

I jumped from CS to CS3, so it shouldn't be a problem. Just be sure you have the serial number from your original version.

According to the Adobe site, you can upgrade to CS5 from any of the following versions: CS4, CS3, or CS2 (or only CS3 and CS4 if you want the extended version)

Photoshop upgrade, Photoshop update | Adobe Photoshop CS5

I ordered the upgrade version and received a $29.85 discount for NAPP membership. The tentative ship date was 4/29.
