Topaz labs has updated their denoise program. If you already have an earlier version, you can copy and paste the key code from your old version to the new.

Just passing on the info...............

Hi Don,

I've down loaded the DeNoise upgrade and all went well. Need a photo with lots of noise to try it out. . . how about sending me one of yours. . .

Oh, the Hansa looks good.

Well, well, Look who's here. I love the avitar. Where did you find it.

Oh, by the way. I sold the 30D about an hour ago. Real nice guy just switching over from and AE-1. Turns out that one of his fellow employees bought a lens from me about 2 years ago.

Tried out the Topaz Denoise 4 using just the overhead light in my kitchen. Shot with a Canon 7D, ISO 6400, f/8 1/100 using a 300mm f/4 IS hand held. Still has some noise but does a fair job.

I used the default for "Raw with light noise". Then I changed the Recovery Detail +.20 to +.30. I then adjusted the Reduce blur from .13 to .20.

I believe the program settings change according to the amount of noise in the photo. I more or less accepted those setting but only increased the above two settings.
