any ideas why all of the sudden my photoshop {cs4} is no longer opening my RAW files...saying they are the wrong kind of document? i am somewhat tech savvy, but have no clue what to do to get this back to normal?
any ideas? thanks so much in advance to anyone with an idea or two :)

Have you upgraded cameras lately? Do you have the latest ACR version?

so...i did upgrade cameras {can't remember if it started before or after the switch...} and i have no idea what the latest version is, so i'm pretty sure i haven't upgraded....
do i need to go somewhere in the settings and switch my camera...does adobe have an upgrade online?
sorry for all the questions...guess i'm not so tech savvy after all....i so apprecaite any help to get me back on track!

John is correct. I had the same problem when I bought my new Nikon D300s. I looked up online what version of "camera raw" I needed for that camera, installed it, and all was well.

Amanda, go to Adobe's site and compare the latest ACR version with what you have installed. It sounds like you probably need to update it.
