Couple Elements Questions - 05-27-2010, 06:07 AM

I'm been playing with E8 and have a few questions.

Sometimes it seems like I overprocess without trying and some of my images have more grain than I'd like. Which tweeks (i.e., contrast, sharpen, etc)could be causing this?

Also, I'm finally get the layers thing down, though I have a way to go, but I"m curious if most folks after using different layers to work on certain aspects of their photo, flatten the image when they are done prior to saving?

Also, do most save in PSD, Tiff or JPeg?

Thanks!

One piece of advice...you can keep your layers and save it as a PSD, then do a save as to out put it as Tiff or whatever. Then you have the option to go back to the PSD and undo or tweak what you've already done.

Just a suggestion.
