I'm importing some photos at the moment. After the import is completed I test it out and report back. |
My results of the workaround:
The workaround only applies to the original RAW file. I selected one RAW file and applied the following:
- a Flag (keyboard shortcut - P)
- color label green (keyboard shortcut - 8)
- Star Rating of 1 (keyboard shortcut - 1)
With that RAW file still selected I pressed Ctrl+S. Next, I right-clicked on the RAW file and chose Edit In > Photoshop CS5. Inside of Photoshop, I made a couple of adjustments. Finally, I saved the PSD and it automatically brings the PSD into LR. The PSD retained the Flag and Star Rating of 1, but not the Color Cabel of Green. This workaround does not apply to Virtual Copies. The Virtual Copies did not save an XMP file.
