I only see Clone and Pattern stamp tools.

There's one thing about the 17 T-S that I forgot to mention It magnifies every single little mistake. The sensor plane is not in line with the subject (horizontal and vertical) and there's some rotation (a degree-ish)
A quick version after filters. I cropped out the pavement and curbs too...
Interesting... It looks like it still needs correction (rotation) but things lined up very nicely in the filters grid? I think it's the offset from center that makes it look that way

Thanks, It looks better with the pavement and curbs cropped. I cropped off center because I thought a tighter crop 'crowded' the flags. I thought something still looked odd........what you said about the sensor plane alignment is probably it! I'll keep at it!

I think it needs more horizontal adjustment... It looks like it's out of alignment
Like this < where the top bar is the subject and bottom bar is the sensor plane. Exaggerated of course.

On that subject...
< or > really makes an image wonky (especially at 17mm) and V or ^ makes an image look wonky. / or \ (rotation) mixed with horizontal and vertical misalignment is a real pita.
The 17mm T-S forces you to be more aware of what's going on in all three dimensions.
FWIW- I still fail miserably at that

Since the rain has stopped, I think it would be good for me to just get out and PRACTICE. Then when the skies are right, I'll be better prepared. Thanks for the help. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
