Question content aware?! - 07-17-2010, 09:28 PM

i shot this loverly image of Brittany, and i cut part of her dress off in the lower right hand side. now she loves the shot and is happy as can be, BUT the clip is driving me crazy! (ok crazier) is this something content aware can fix? and if so can someone point me in the right direction.

thanks,

I don't own CS5 but I am going to take a guess based on what i've seen that the content aware feature isn't going to help you much here. If you have another shot of this pose showing the lower corner of her dress then you can do some layering, cloning and blending to make it work.
Do you have CS5 and have you experimented with it? I am curious as to if content aware would do the trick.

I played with it a little and it can be done with some work. You need to create a new blank image larger, then copy your image over to it and then use content aware to fill in area of new image, then crop new image to size and touch up as needed.

Expand you canvas on the right and then copy some of the skirt from the left side.

@ JEddington... Exactly what I did... I also over exposed the photo. made sure to extend the background as well....then returned it to the original exposure.
