Has anyone tried both Topaz and Imagenomic's noise reduction software? I have Imagenomic's Noiseware ATM and it works pretty good. There's some particles that it fails to get though and it can be frustrating sometimes with really high-ISO or under-exposed images I'm trying to save

All I can say is DeNoise 4 rocks. This can only be better. I am looking forward to the faster processing. Even on my Quad core and 8GB RAM it take 15 to 30 seconds depending on the image content. Look forward to loading 5 tonight.

Checked speed improvement with one picture, 4 = 57.7 secs & 5 = 34.2 secs.

I have to say that DeNoise 5 is every bit as good and is 30 to 40% faster in processing. As you see though it is not a speed demon. Works so well for me though. 3200 ISO is out of bounds even for my 7D and this allows usable printable images. So, shooitng in low light in the early morning with an f5.6 lens and high shutter speed to offset my old age shake is now do able.

How is it compared to Lightroom 3 noise reduction? I am very impressed with the new NR in LR3, but not so much the speed.

I don't know about LR3, haven't used it. But I have been comparing it to Imagenomic's Noiseware, and Topaz seems to have the upper hand. It leaves more detail and doesn't cause as much smudging, it also deals with artifacts nicely. The biggest caveat I see at the moment is how long it takes to process one image. Imagenomic's Noiseware is at least twice as fast, but again, Topaz does better at it's job.

Anybody know of a different $30-off coupon? The "Doublespeed" one is expired :/
