Question Best price and place to purchase LR3 ? - 08-08-2010, 11:57 AM

So.....
I'm considering LR3.
I've put a little more time into working with it and I'm really starting to like it.

I know the MSRP for LR3 is $299 and I only know of a couple of places I really trust to order from online, like Amazon, which sells it for about $282.

Just wondering if anyone has found it for a lower price from a reputable dealer?

I'm not at all interested in any form of pirated copy...just so we're all clear on that

So with that said, I'd really like to know if anyone's managed to get a good deal and from where.

PS: I know about the student/teacher pricing, but I'm neither so cannot take advantage of that offer.

Thanks in advance.

Adobe recognizes that a enrollment in a community college for student pricing.

I just signed up for a continuing education class at my local community college. Bought the student version of LR3, sent in a scanned copy of my registration reciept and a day later......I'm a licensed student LR3 user.

For me the cost was worth it ~$95 for the class and $91 for student version of software from Newegg. And for the kicker, I signed up for a studio lighting class that will help me with lighting and posing techniques.
