This program has saved me so much time over the last several years, it was developed by photographers for photographers! I do my processing in Lightroom and then add any sort of brush, frame, etc. in Fotofusion. I recently did a wedding photobook in Fotofusion then uploaded it into the company's template using the full page option and it worked beautifully. you can download a trial version. I use the mid-priced version but the full blown version really has some great features. The thing I really like about this program is that you can resize images without losing image quality and there are no layers to contend with - unless you want to use them. Click and drag is pretty much the name of the game for this program.

You can either purchase digital papers, brushes, etc from the company (you will only be able to use Fotofusion elements in Fotofusion and and no other software if you choose this option), make your own or purchase from online digital elements companies like designerdigitals.com. Just make sure if you buy online that you purchase the photographer's license so you can use them in your business.

And no...I don't work for them...just really love the program.

Have fun!

I've had the Extreme version for years but honestly only used a handful of times. I didn't find as easy as you mention it to be.

There have been many updates to the program in the last several years-have you tried updating your version? If you decide to update...don't forget you have to go in and reactivate. What are you having problems with? I do remember that one version used to "lock up" and they quickly fixed it. I don't use it to edit my photos but to add digital elements, text, resize, print, etc.

It is OK nothing special. I find Photoshop easier to use.

I use it 9 out of ten times for album design. Count me in as one who thinks it's very simple.

That's pretty expensive software. I was thinking about giving the scrapbook essentials version a shot but with a maximum export file size of 2000x2000 px it won't do me any favors.

For resizing images, swapping them out, autocollage... I completely fell in love with this program for creating albums & collages... it took a bit to get the hang of, but so worth it!!!! It has saved me so much time in album creation & sales. For proofing I love how it puts the file names right on the pics and did I mention the auto collage feature :) I'm able to create my printing labs specs for page layouts and just go to town. They have a trial that you can use so you can see if it's something you want to purchase. Absolutely love it!

Give the middle of the road version a try. It does everything I need it to do. for more complicated things I do use Photoshop.

Been using it for years. I create wedding albums and nothing compares to it for the ability to make pages fast and easy. I love using the "buckets" to hold my own digital "papers" so I don't have to buy theirs. Very flexible and, while not intuitive, it definitely cuts hours off my design time.
