Saving Corrected Images - 09-23-2010, 05:06 AM

Hello, I have adjusted my RAW photos in CS3 Bridge. I converted the images to jpeg but the corrections didn't show up. How do I save the corrections I have made and convert to jpeg?

Thanks!

when you made the changes, sis you click the select all button at the top left and then the save button on the bottom left? If you just close Bridge, the changes should still be saved, but they won't automatically convert to jpeg unless you tell it to...

You can't see the changes in a jpeg format. Jpeg does not allow that. Save changes as a pds and your changes will show keeping all your layers.

ok, after you make the changes in RAW, are you then opening up the image in CS3? because once you open the image in CS3, whatever changes you made in RAW will be saved as default.

I open the NEF images in bridge cs3 I click on each individual photo and correct (in bridge) I press done on the right of the box after each image. After all images have been worked on I go to image processing and convert to jpeg.
Thanks!

It sounds like and I am assuming you are using camera raw.

If you have done it as you say, Bridge will save what you have done. Bridge uses a couple of files to save the information. According to your preferences setup, the files are in the default folder for Bridge, or in the folder where your images are located. The files are named: .BridgeCache and .BridgeCacheT. I designate Bridge to put them in the folder where my images are located, so when I archive the folder the Bridge files are archived with the files.
